Answer:

In this bizarre new world we live in, expect the unexpected. The normal chronology of life has been altered. After the epidemic, the Organization had to instill an embargo on unnecessary travel. It was for our own good. Their catchy slogans filled with alliterations and analogies to make us remember .By "staying inside at all costs" we were keeping each other alive.  Local scientists believed that strange antibodies mixed with the chemicals made these zombie-like creatures. Some of us were lucky enough to not carry them. The Organization believed it was deign to talk to anyone outside our walls, that they could be infected too. At the time, everyone was an exponent of their ideas because we all wanted to survive. But Now? I am ready to boycott.  As I step outside for the fist time in years, covered in green camouflage and overly enthusiastic, I am ready to reunite with the world.

PLEASE HELP ME!!! Melvin couldn't believe his luck. He had always wanted to get gold and purple Dynamite mountain bike. He was working hard at his chores and saving his allowance. Finally, he had enough money to buy the bike of his dreams. His father said they would go to the store on Saturday. Friday night, Melvin could hardly sleep. His mind was unable to rest as it raced with excitement and anticipation. After a few hours of counting sheep after sheep, he finally drifted off into a deep sleep where his dreams were vivid and realistic. He could feel the wind in his hair as he raced up and down the hills on his new mountain bike. In the morning, Melvin's father woke him up at 7 am sharp. After getting dressed and brushing their teeth, they got in the car and headed to the store. Melvin felt like he could burst with excitement! When his father asked if he was ready, Melvin quickly replied, "Are you kidding? I have been ready for months!" When they arrived at the store, Melvin sprinted to the back where the bikes were. His eyes glistened when he saw all the new, shiny bikes. His choices were endless! But there was only one that he really wanted. Melvin's eyes scanned back and forth for the gold and purple bike that he had been dreaming about, but he couldn't see it. He searched and searched up and down the aisles, but it was nowhere to be found. His heart sank with disappointment. It was the only one he really wanted, and now he couldn't get it. "I worked so hard for nothing! It's just not fair!" Melvin exclaimed as his shoulders slumped and he stormed away from the bikes. He just wanted to give up and go home, but Melvin's father told him not to worry. Like any dad would, he went and spoke to the store clerk. A few minutes went by as Melvin paced back and forth, anxiously awaiting his father's return. Sure enough, his dad came back with a huge smile on his face. He told Melvin that there was one gold and purple Dynamite mountain bike at the store across town and that they would put it on hold for him. Melvin jumped up and down with delight. He was so happy, and he finally understood what his father had always told him: You should never give up at the first hurdle! Which detail suggests the problem Melvin faces in the story? A. He just wanted to give up and go home, but Melvin's father told him not to worry. B. He searched up and down the aisles, but it was nowhere to be found. C. Melvin quickly replied, "Are you kidding? Answer:

Explanation:

The Puritans wanted to "purify" the English Church of all traces of the Catholic faith. The Puritans were a group of Protestant Christians who were dissatisfied with the Church of England and sought to reform it according to their own beliefs. They believed that the Church of England had been contaminated by the influence of Catholicism, and that it needed to be purged of these influences in order to become a pure and faithful expression of Protestant Christianity. In order to achieve this goal, the Puritans sought to establish a new form of church government and worship that would be free from the control of the English state and the Church of England. This eventually led to the formation of the Congregationalist and Baptist churches in the United States.

Answers

Answer:

A leader's responsibility is to motivate a group of people toward a common goal. Leadership depends on ideas-both original and borrowed-that are effectively communicated to other people in a way that engages them enough to act in the direction the leader intends. Leaders inspire others to act and simultaneously direct their actions. People must be able to follow their orders, and they must possess the critical thinking skills necessary to know how to make most effective use of the resources available to an organization.

Explanation:

Answer: First of all, Leadership refers to the quality of leading people. Probably, it is one of the most important aspects of life. Above all, Leadership has led to the progress of human civilization. Without good Leadership, no organization or group can succeed. Furthermore, not everyone has this quality. This is because effective Leadership requires certain important characteristics. A good leader must certainly inspire others. A leader must be a role model for his followers. Furthermore, he must motivate them whenever possible. Also, in difficult situations, a leader must not lose hope.

Leadership captures the essentials of being able and prepared to inspire others. Effective leadership is based upon ideas—both original and borrowed—that are effectively communicated to others in a way that engages them enough to act as the leader wants them to act. A leader inspires others to act while simultaneously directing the way that they act. They must be personable enough for others to follow their orders, and they must have the critical thinking skills to know the best way to use the resources at an organization's disposal.

Honesty is a notable quality of a leader. Honesty and Integrity are important to earn the love of followers. Above all, honesty is essential to win the trust of the people. Probably, every Leadership which loses trust is bound to fail. People will not work with full effort due to an immoral leader.

To conclude, Leadership is required in probably every sphere of life. Good leadership is the door to success. In contrast, bad leadership is a guarantee of failure. Consequently, good leaders are what make the world go round.

If a column alias contains a blank space, it must be enclosed in quotation marks ("").

When working with column aliases in SQL, if the alias contains a blank space or any special characters, it must be enclosed in quotation marks. By using quotation marks, you are indicating to the database that the text within the quotes should be treated as a single entity and recognized as the column alias.

For example, if you want to alias a column as "Total Sales", you would write it as:

SELECT SUM(sales) AS "Total Sales"

FROM sales_table;

The quotation marks ensure that the alias is interpreted correctly and considered as a single identifier. This is especially important when the alias includes spaces or special characters that might otherwise be misinterpreted by the database.

Moreover, outdoor banners are printed in smaller production runs because of less frequent orders; the setup of the printing equipment takes longer; and, since higher durability is needed to withstand the elements, more quality inspections are needed. Under the traditional costing approach, overhead costs are assigned to the products on the basis of direct labour-hours. Despite the introduction of the new outdoor banners, profits have declined steadily over the past three years. Management is beginning to believe that the companys costing system may be at fault. Unit costs for materials and labour for the two products follow: Indoor Banners Outdoor Banners Direct materials $ 16.50 $ 35.00 Direct labour ($15 per hour) $ 15 $ 45 Management estimates that the company will incur $2,880,000 in overhead costs during the current year and that 24,000 indoor banners and 4,800 outdoor banners will be produced and sold. Required: 1-a. Compute the predetermined overhead rate assuming that the company continues to apply overhead cost to products on the basis of direct labour-hours. (Round your answer to 2 decimal places.) 1-b. Using this rate and other data from the problem, determine the unit product cost of each product. (Round your answers to 2 decimal places.) 2. Management is considering using ABC to apply overhead cost to products for external financial reports. Some preliminary work has been done, and the data that have been collected are displayed below. Using these data, calculate the predetermined overhead rate for each activity cost pool identified below: (Round your answers to 2 decimal places.) Activity Measures Estimated Total Overhead Costs Indoor Banners Outdoor Banners Total Order processing (orders received) $ 720,000 1,200 1,200 2,400 Print setup (number of batches) 240,000 1,920 480 2,400 Artwork and graphic design (labour-hours) 1,680,000 16,800 16,800 33,600 Quality control (number of inspections) 240,000 960 960 1,920 Total overhead cost $ 2,880,000 3. Using the predetermined manufacturing overhead rates that you computed in (2) above, do the following: a. Determine the total amount of manufacturing overhead cost that would be applied to each product using the ABC system. After you have computed these totals, determine the amount of overhead cost per unit of each product. b. Compute the unit product cost of each product. (Round your answers to 2 decimal places.)
