"Do you think there is any relationship between sanity and intelligence or cleverness? Why or why not?"

Answers

Answer 1
If this is asking for a personal opinion, then no. I do not believe there is any relationship or connection between sanity and intelligence because someone’s mental state or background doesn’t define their intelligence or thinking patterns. Some studies done over mental disorders such as BPD (borderline personality disorder) have found sufferers to be more intelligent and, ironically speaking, happier than the average person.

President _________ vigorous prosecution of the Klan under this law has all but destroyed the organization across the South.
CHAIRMAN: All in favor of the motion, say "aye."
ASSEMBLY: Aye!
CHAIRMAN: : The motion is carried. I hope this federal intervention will finally put an end to these Southern terrorists' continued practice of intimidation, harassment, and assassination of so-called Southern scalawags and Northern _______________, whose only real crime was exercising their political rights as free men! Let us remember that freedmen provide ______________ Republican votes and we remember who our friends are.
SECOND SPEAKER: Hear, hear, Mr. Chairman! It is a shame that the Klan was enabled to deprive so many of life and liberty. I only hope that the federal government continues its efforts to enforce equal protection of law, as guaranteed by the Fourteenth Amendment, and the right to vote , as granted to us by the Fifteenth Amendment.
FIRST SPEAKER: Mr. Chairman, I am compelled to take the floor once again. I would like to discuss misleading reports in the Democratic-controlled papers that our current Republican-controlled government is corrupt and that is ____________ widespread and common.

I move that we now close the floor and proceed to our scheduled agenda . . .

Answers

A motion is made to thank the United States Congress for passing a legislation that allowed the federal government to crack down on the Invisible Empire, leading to its decline in the South.

The first speaker proposes a motion to express gratitude to the United States Congress for passing a particular legislation that empowered the federal government to arrest and prosecute members of the Invisible Empire, a reference to the Ku Klux Klan (KKK).

The legislation has been instrumental in President's efforts in prosecuting the Klan, resulting in the organization's near-destruction across the South.

The chairman acknowledges the motion, emphasizing the importance of federal intervention to combat the KKK's acts of intimidation, harassment, and assassination of individuals such as Southern scalawags and Northern individuals exercising their political rights.

The freedmen's Republican votes are acknowledged, highlighting the importance of their support. The second speaker reinforces the need for the federal government to uphold equal protection of the law and voting rights.

The first speaker then raises concerns about misleading reports of corruption in the Republican-controlled government, but the chairman suggests tabling that discussion due to time constraints and praises the government's initiatives in establishing public schools, women's property rights, tax system improvements, etc.

The meeting then proceeds to the scheduled agenda.

Answers

Groups and organizations responsible for memorializing should take into account a number of variables when determining the best approach to do so given the increase of monuments and memorials to people and events around the world.

Monuments and memorials can fulfil a variety of purposes, including honoring a historic occurrence or event, maintaining a person's legacy and contribution to the country, and shedding light on individuals whose stories haven't been heard (Source A).

The Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. (Source B), for example, was shaped like a V to represent the sharply divided sides of the Vietnam War. Some monument designs can be metaphors for the lives of those they are honoring or celebrating.

The Civil War soldier statue in Ohio's Elder's Grove Cemetery (Source C) depicts a steadfast expression of resolve and pride that is said to honor both those who perished at sea and those who are still fighting today. Other designs might employ language and images to convey a person's biography or the cultural significance of a particular event (Source D).

The public may be more inclined to visit a monument if it is established soon after an incident or event. Roadside memorials can offer visibility and access in America's road-dependent society (Source E).

In order to draw attention to and honor the events they memorialize, more renowned locations, like the Grand Army of the Republic Hall museum in Franklin, Tennessee (Source F), may need regulation and greater resources. In some circumstances, a lack of regulation can make it possible for individuals to find memorials away from the established path, like the Challenger Memorial in the far-off Mexican desert (Source G).

Sleep deprivation is unhealthy and schools should start later than it does.

What is sleep deprivation?

An inadequate amount or quality of sleep, including voluntary or involuntary sleeplessness and circadian rhythm sleep disorders, is referred to as sleep deprivation. Although food and water are equally as vital to human health as sleep, many people don't get enough of either.

Lack of sleep can have causes that are not connected to underlying illnesses. Examples include stress, obligations related to work or school, or poor sleeping patterns. Students who start school early tend to sleep less, which has a negative impact on their academic performance. Less sleep causes students to have trouble concentrating in class, which affects their grades. They might also feel worn out and irritable.

Lack of sleep increases the risk of many health issues in children and adolescents, including obesity, type 2 diabetes, poor mental health, and accidents. Additionally, they are more likely to experience issues with attention and behavior, which can result in subpar academic performance in school.

Use the drop-down menus to describe the key aspects of the function. The vertex is the maximum value. The function is positive for no values of x.The function is decreasing .The domain of the function is .The range of the function is . "Solve the system of linear equations given above with rowoperations and determine its rank.3x1+3x2+2x3=25 3x1+2x2+3x3=22 2x1+x2+4x3=18 Line segment DE is graphed on the coordinate plane below. Brian is testing to see how much water plants need. Why is it important that Brian includes a control group? A) To observe whether plants need water or not B)To confirm that plants need 25ml of water per day C)To confirm that plants need 75ml of water per day D) To observe one variable at a time Ramps in a parking garage need to be steep. The maximum safe incline for a ramp is 8.5 degrees. Is this ramp safe? If not, provide dimensions that would make the ramp safe. 15 1 95 I Submit The management of Hartman Rent-A-Car has allocated $2.52 million to buy a fleet of new automobiles consisting of compact, intermediate-size, and full-size cars. Compacts cost $18,000 each, intermediate-size cars cost $27,000 each, and full-size cars cost $36,000 each. If Hartman purchases twice as many compacts as intermediate-size cars and the total number of cars to be purchased is 100, determine how many cars of each type will be purchased. (Assume that the entire budget will be used. Let x, y, and z denote the number of compact, intermediate-sized, and full-size cars purchased, respectively.)
