In the movie "God's Not Dead 2," attorney Tom Endler separates the idea of "blind faith" from the idea of hard fact by presenting historical evidence, expert testimony, and logical arguments to support the existence of God and the reliability of the Bible. By doing this, he demonstrates that faith can be based on rational foundations rather than simply being a blind belief without any evidence.
As he presents historical and scientific evidence to support his case that Jesus was a real historical figure who lived and died.
Making the Bible a reliable historical document, he argues that faith is not a leap in the dark but is based on a reasonable evaluation of the evidence and that it is possible to have both faith and reason. He emphasizes that faith is not incompatible with evidence and that a person can believe in something based on both faith and reason.

a child that says, "we eated pizza for dinner" has made the error ofA. overregularization. B. overgeneralization. C. discrimination. D. scaffolding.
The child who says "we eated pizza for dinner" has made the error of overregularization, which is a common language development error that occurs when a child applies a regular grammatical rule to an irregular word form. In this case, the child has applied the regular past tense suffix "-ed" to the irregular verb "eat," which should have been "ate."
Overgeneralization, on the other hand, occurs when a child applies a grammatical rule too broadly, such as when they say "goed" instead of "went." Discrimination refers to the ability to distinguish between different sounds, words, or concepts, which is not related to this particular error. Scaffolding is a concept from cognitive development theory that refers to the process of providing support and guidance to help a child learn and accomplish tasks that they would not be able to do on their own. It is not related to this language development error.

What is the single story? Can you think of examples of how it
applies today? Has it ever applied to you?
The term "single story" was popularized by the Nigerian author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie in her TED Talk titled "The Danger of a Single Story." It refers to the idea that if we only hear or believe a single narrative about a person, place, or culture, we risk forming incomplete or stereotypical judgments.
The single story can be seen in various aspects of our lives, including media representation, cultural perceptions, and personal experiences. Here are a few examples:
Media Representation: The single story often manifests in media portrayals that focus on stereotypes and reinforce biases. For instance, certain racial or ethnic groups might be consistently portrayed in narrow and negative ways, perpetuating harmful stereotypes.
Cultural Perceptions: Cultural misunderstandings can arise from the single story. When we have limited exposure to a particular culture, we may develop preconceived notions based on a single narrative, overlooking the diversity and complexity within that culture. This can lead to misunderstandings and biased judgments.
Personal Experiences: On an individual level, the single story can impact our interactions and relationships. If we form judgments about others based on a limited understanding or a single encounter, we may fail to see the full range of their experiences and perspectives. This can hinder empathy & create barriers between people.

Single stories refer to the limited and often stereotyped perceptions that arise when people are exposed only to narrative and perspectives about specific groups and cultures.
This is true today both in media representations that perpetuate stereotypes and in face-to-face interactions where assumptions are made based on limited information. This can lead to misunderstandings, prejudices and discrimination.
This single narrative may have also applied to individuals at some point, subjecting them to stereotypes and misconceptions based on gender, race, and social background. Challenging a single story requires pursuing multiple perspectives and embracing diversity.
By recognizing the existence of a single narrative and actively seeking multiple perspectives, we can aim for a broader and more nuanced understanding of people, cultures and societies.

Currently, I am writing a book and when you start I think you should just do whatever. Not everyone starts off great. Just write down all your ideas and don't think about them just write. The more you think the more you question yourself and then it will just get harder before you even started. After you think you ran out of ideas, then read it over and your brain will do the rest from there.
Whatever idea you want your story or book to be about I think you should make sure you read enough books or material about the topic so you can kind of have an idea of what's going on.
Having a good support system helps too. I have a couple of friends who read my stories or books and they tell me things I should add or things that don't look right and it always makes everything sound better.
I looked your question up one day because I was also curious and this is what it says:

Step 2: Schedule a Time and Place to Write Each Day
Step 3: Set a Specific Writing Goal

Step 5: Announce Your Book
Step 6: Give Yourself a New Identity: Author

What is the difference between knowing something
Gilbert Ryle famously differentiated among knowing-that and knowing-how. Knowing that a particular thing is the case, and understanding it constitutes the knowledge of how to accomplish something.
With this dichotomy in mind, researchers of Chinese philosophy in general, and Confucianism in specifically, have been led to believe that Confucians promote knowing-how rather than knowing-that.
Since that Confucians are mainly focused with moral knowledge and many have unquestionably placed a high value on moral self-cultivation, it is apparent that understanding in Confucianism is more than just propositional and conceptual knowing-that. Indeed, if knowing-that and knowing-how had depleted all conceivable categories of knowledge.
I would then accept that morality in Confucianism is more knowing-how than knowing-that, or at minimum more knowing-how over knowing-that.
