-The whole country
-Only the parts of the country it specifies
-Every country
Answer:
-The whole country
Explanation:
A law passed by congress applies to the whole country and not to the every or specific country.
Congress has all the legislative power in the government. Though a bill is required to pass through both house and senate with a majority of votes to become a law and then signed by the president of the United States or congress can override the law.
Congress passes a law, it applies to the whole country only because it cannot be applied to specific parts of the country as it can raise dispute inside the country and other countries has their own legislative bodies for making laws so, congress can not interfere with that.

Place the following sequence of events in the correct order.
Ferdinand Magellan set out from Spain with five ships to find a way to reach the Pacific.
The Treaty of Tordesillas was signed.
Columbus returns to Spain
The Dutch built Cape Town.
According to what is required in the question, the events are organized in the following chronological order from oldest to most recent.
Explanation
The first event that occurred in chronological order is the return of Christopher Columbus to Spain, since it is not specified to which of his trips the question refers, it is necessary to emphasize that Columbus traveled four times to the New World (today is known as America) that were on the following dates:
First voyage (August 3, 1492 - March 15, 1493)
Second voyage (September 25, 1493 - June 11, 1496)
Third voyage (May 30, 1498 - November 25, 1500)
Fourth voyage (April 3, 1502 - November 7, 1504)
In these trips, Christopher Columbus discovered the New World by chance because his initial objective for this exploration was to find a route to the East Indies crossing the entire ocean surrounding the globe. During his four trips to America, Columbus explored several of the islands of the Caribbean Sea and part of the coast of the continental zone of Central and South America.
The second chronological event is the departure of Fernando de Magallanes on August 10, 1519, at the command of five ships and went to the south of South America where he crossed a strait (which today bears his name) and thus reaches the Philippines passing through the Pacific Ocean.
The third event is the start of the construction of Cape Town, a city located on the southern coast of Africa, in what is now known as the country of South Africa. This construction began in 1652 when a group of Dutch settled there with the sole objective of building a route station for ships traveling to the East Indies and that had to pass through there.
